Sol Centre
Sol Centre is a North London yoga studio run by Adriana Maldonado. Offering a mix of yoga classes and an on-site sauna, the studio needed a brand identity and website that felt as warm and welcoming as the space itself – while making it easy for members to book sessions without any fuss.
Adriana came to me with a clear vision – she wanted something that felt personal. And she needed a site that would make it simple for customers to book classes and sauna sessions without getting lost in clunky menus or confusing forms.
Design – visual identity & user experience
I started by building a complete visual identity around a calming palette of pastel green, cream and purple. These colours aren't just pretty – they're chosen to evoke tranquility and approachability, setting the tone before a visitor even reads a word.
The logo itself is a dandelion clock set on a circular yellow-to-violet radiating shape – an idea Adriana specifically requested. Its symbolism fits perfectly for a yoga studio; dandelion seeds are traditionally associated with hope, manifestation and transformation, which ties in with the personal growth that happens on the mat.
To make the site feel more personal than your typical yoga studio template, I created a set of custom yoga-inspired illustrations. Little touches like these help tell the story of the studio and make the browsing experience feel more like stepping into the space itself.
Development – CMS & custom-styled booking
The website is built with Kirby CMS – it's lightweight, flexible and gives the Sol Centre team full control over their content without needing to touch code. Adding news, tweaking copy or updating class information is straightforward, which is exactly what a busy studio owner needs.
For bookings, Adriana decided to use Momence to manage her classes and sauna sessions and wanted their widget embedded in the site. I custom-styled it to blend seamlessly with the brand's look and feel, so the booking experience feels cohesive even though the final transaction happens on Momence's platform. Class schedules are updated directly through Momence, keeping everything in sync without any extra work for the team.
Results – a cohesive digital presence
The final site positions Sol Centre as a polished, professional studio while keeping the personal, nurturing feeling that makes it special. The brand identity hangs together beautifully across everything from the logo to the illustrations, and the styled booking widget means members can reserve their spot without jarring design clashes or confusion.
For Adriana, it's a digital home that truly reflects her studio – and for me, it's a project I'm genuinely proud to have been part of.
