Visions

Learning by Doing is a global initiative focused on creating pathways to sustainable societies that limit temperature rise. They needed a dedicated microsite for their Visions project – a way to show what sustainable futures could look like through clear visuals and messaging about climate action.

Design — Created with illustrator Francisco de la Mora, the design is built around his comic-style illustrations that tell the story of climate cooperation and sustainable pathways. The typography uses a typewriter style that works naturally with the hand-drawn illustrations – everything feels approachable and human. Simple layout with plenty of breathing room keeps the illustrations front and centre, with straightforward navigation through different vision scenarios.

Development — Hand-coded in HTML and CSS for speed and compatibility. This lightweight approach means fast loading across all devices and browsers – important for reaching a global audience. The clean code makes the site easy to update as the initiative grows.

Results — A focused microsite that communicates sustainable futures through Francisco's illustrations and thoughtful design. Fast and accessible for visitors worldwide to explore climate solutions.
